Advanced repayment upon credit contracts with non-residents are prohibited in Ukraine

Applicable Ukrainian legislation upon the Law # 1533-17 from 23.06.2009 and in force from 24.11.2009 has temporarily disallowed an advanced repayment by loans, which were or will be granted from foreign to local companies.
Such amendments to the Law has been done in order to
overcome the adverse effect of financial crunch in Ukraine
