Parliament finally adopted the Law simplifying conditions for doing business in Ukraine

On 15 December 2009 the Parliament finally adopted the Law on Amending Certain Law of Ukraine (concerning simplification of business conditions in Ukraine).Among the progressive provisions of this Law:
1. amendments to the Law of Ukraine on Fire Security eliminating the norm which legislatively fixed donations of legal entities and individuals as legitimate maintenance of State Fire Protection Service (which was sometimes abused by authorities);
2. changes in the Law of Ukraine on Economic Entities levelling significantly down quantitative requirement to the statutory capital of limited liability companies (from 100 of minimal wages as prescribed before down to 1 minimal wage).
